Pre 68 & 75          Evolution


Club Rules:

  1. Crash Helmets & Boots of a suitable standard must be worn.

  2. Bikes should display 3 identical numbers, a registry of numbers will be kept. Application for numbers will be on a first come first served basis. Numbers start from 5.

  3. Bikes are to be presented in a clean condition for eligibility checks. Bikes must be in a sound mechanical condition.

  4. All riders must be over age 15.

  5. Tyres with block spacing of greater than 35mm will not be permitted.

  6. A meeting organiser will be appointed for each event. In the case of any dispute, the meeting organiser shall have final authority.

  7. Machine classes:
    - pre 65
    - pre 75
    - evolution

Class Rules:

Pre 1968 and Pre 1975

  1. No Mono-shock or forward mounted shocks are eligible. Standard rear shock mounts are to be used. Rear travel maximum of 100mm, front fork travel maximum of 175mm. Shocks must be not more than 75mm forward of the rear axle and no more than 15 degrees from verticle. No remote reservois shocks to be used, except where originally standard.

  2. Flow-on models e.g) 1975 Suzuki TM75, 1975 Kawasaki KX125, Falta, CZ etc; will be looked at on merit and eligibility.

  3. All components are to be of a design commonly manufactured during the period the bike is eligible for, except that modern muffling can be fitted. No disc brakes.

Evolution

  1. All motors to be aircooled and have a maximum of 2 cylinders.

  2. No linkage rear shock suspension.

  3. No upside down forks, or disc brakes.
